Design Process
Crafting your space is a chance to capture your essence
Our 18-step process is an in-depth journey together regardless of the project scope. Be it large scale renovations, remodel revamps, new builds or a furnishing uplevel– our objective remains the same: to intuitively develop the feeling you want to experience in the space and to articulate it in alignment with your personal essence.
After our initial consultation visit and agreement, we conduct a series of discovery interviews to develop an attuned relationship with you and to deepen our understanding of your design needs and expectations.
We’ll learn what defines your style, your specific preferences and we’ll hone in on exactly what evokes the feelings you want to convey in your space.
From there, we’ll present a detailed conceptual direction, fine tuning new ideas collaboratively with you as the project progresses.
Throughout the entire process, we remain as your advocate to uphold and elevate your initial vision every step of the way. As the logistical orchestrators, we also handle all the moving parts for you, keeping your peace of mind intact, while we work to cultivate the final result aligned with the initial vision.

MEET MEGAN
With over ten years of designing luxury interiors, Megan brings a vast scope of expertise to Rae Cole Interiors. As a connoisseur of design, Megan’s foundational background in architecture drafting and interior design has infused her artistic ability with an important layer of technical understanding. She graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in interior design and a minor in architecture. Her education in design theory, art history, and construction all inform the designer she is today: adept, driven, and detail-oriented. From a young age, Megan has had an inherent understanding of the emotional impact of interior spaces and has since sharpened her ability to innately feel into design solutions in tandem with technical and theoretical perspectives.
Megan sees emotion as the most powerful element of design and integrates it into her projects resulting in the most meaningful impacts expressing her clients’ stories.
Megan has success as both a seasoned project manager and as a creative director. She is astute in balancing lines of communication and adhering to schedules— all while ensuring your vision is centered throughout the process. Her award-winning designs are a testament to her ability to create spaces that deeply resonate with her clients.
MEET Nicole
For Nicole, her journey with interior design has been most impacted by her ten-year battle with an eye disease that threatened her vision. She understands the profound gift God gave her and uses it to its highest creative potential by helping others bring their own visions to life.
Bringing over five years of professional organization experience and three years of design management and operational direction, Nicole’s technical prowess on the business-side of things complements her visceral ability to unify form and function as a designer.
Working with vintage heirlooms and found objects that evoke warm memories or feelings of nostalgia is a starting-point method that Nicole implements to create her compelling spaces. Nicole’s intention with her work is to sublimate these treasured feelings into full-scale environments that function as beautifully as they feel.
